TREEHOUSE OF HORROR I (7F04)

The only THOH to take place inside of an actual treehouse, Bart and Lisa tell ghost stories, with Homer listening to them.
BAD DREAM HOUSE
The Simpsons purchase a new house, only to discover that it's possessed by evil demons. The house has a mind of its own and convinces the Simpsons to kill each other. Later, the house explodes after deciding it would be better to do that than live with the Simpsons.
HUNGRY ARE THE DAMNED
Two aliens, Kang and Kodos, kidnap the Simpsons and leave Earth. As they head back to their home planet, the aliens are very generous and feed the Simpsons very well. After finding a book entitled, How To Cook Humans, Lisa becomes suspicious and later the Simpsons confront both the aliens. Kang and Kodos insist that the book is titled, How To Cook For Forty Humans. Soon after, the Simpsons are returned their home on Earth, being told by Kang and Kodos that due to their distrustful nature, they'd never be able to visit their home planet. (This short is Kang and Kodos' first appearance on the Simpsons).
THE RAVEN
The Simpsonized version of the Edgar Allen poem, Lisa reads the poem of horror to Bart. Homer, secretly listening, begins to visualize the poem. He pictures himself as the narrator, along with Marge as Lenore, and Bart as the Raven.

This THOH episode revolves around the three nightmares had by Lisa, Bart, and Homer.
THE MONKEY'S PAW (AKA LISA'S NIGHTMARE)
On a Moroccan vacation, Homer purchases a monkey's paw from an old man in a marketplace. The Simpsons return home to discover that the paw will grant them four wishes. Bart wishes for fame, Lisa for world peace, and Maggie for a new soother (pacifier). Soon, Kang and Kodos invade Earth, after discovering that all humans were at peace with one another. The aliens turn the humans into their slaves. After Homer used the fourth and final wish on a sandwich, he throws the paw out. Flanders finds it and uses his wish to rid Earth of the aliens, which happens.
THE BART ZONE (AKA BART'S NIGHTMARE)
In Bart's nightmare, he discovers he has telekinetic powers, he can read people's minds and knows what they're thinking any moment of the day. Soon after, everyone in Springfield knows that if they aren't thinking happy thoughts, they're in trouble. Bart has the ability to transform people into beasts. Homer becomes angry with Bart and is later turned into a Jack-in-the-box. Though, after being advised by Dr. Marvin Monroe to spend more time with Homer, Bart does and eventually changes Homer back into human form.
IF I ONLY HAD A BRAIN (AKA HOMER'S NIGHTMARE)
In Homer's nightmare, after he is fired from his job at SNPP by Mr. Burns, he becomes a gravedigger. Homer falls asleep while digging, and Burns and Smithers take him to a laboratory where his brain is removed and put into a robot. Realizing the experiment is going terribly wrong; Burns puts Homer's brain back into his head. The now-brainless robot falls onto Burns, resulting in a severe injury. Later, Homer wakes up to find Burns next to him, sewed on.

TREEHOUSE OF HORROR III (9F04)
AIR DATE: OCTOBER 29, 1992
CLOWN WITHOUT PITY
Homer buys Bart a talking Krusty the Clown doll for his birthday. Homer soon discovers that when he is alone with the doll, it attempts to kill him. Being quite clever, the Krusty doll only acts like this when he is alone with Homer. Later on, Marge finds the doll strangling Homer in an attempt to kill him. The whole problem is resolved by changing the switch on the Krusty doll from Evil to Good.
KING HOMER
In this simpsonized parody of the classic film, Homer stars as the giant ape, King Homer, and Marge stars as his love interest. Burns wants to capture King Homer in order to have him star in his freak show. After finally capturing Homer, Burns brings the giant ape to New York, to star on broadway. Soon, Homer breaks free and roams around the city. With his love interest in his hand, he begins to climb up the Empire State Building. After climbing only two stories, Homer falls to the ground, tired. Next we watch as King Homer marries his tiny love interest, Marge.
DIAL "Z" FOR ZOMBIE
Bart, while visiting the library, finds a book of spells. In an attempt to bring the Simpsons first cat, Snowball I, back to life. He visits the town's cemetery and casts the spell, hoping to bring his dear cat back to life. Instead, he resurrects the whole cemetery. The zombies cause havoc by invading Springfield and eating the citizens' brains. Eventually, Bart finds and casts the spell to send the zombies back to their graves, six feet under.

TREEHOUSE OF HORROR IV (1F04)
AIR DATE: OCTOBER 28, 1993
THE DEVIL AND HOMER SIMPSON
As usual, Homer becomes hungry at work, and stupidly says, "I'd sell my soul for a donut." Soon after, The Devil, who looks strikingly similar to Ned Flanders, visits Homer with a donut. He states that once Homer finishes the donut, his soul will become property of the devil, Homer agrees. Homer leaves a small piece of the donut. One night, Homer, hungry, eats the last piece of the forbidden donut. The Devil appears to claim Homer's soul. After going through a trial, Marge proves that Homer's soul belongs to her. He wasn't able to give it away for a donut in the first place. Frustrated, The Devil vanishes back into the depths of Hell.
NIGHTMARE AT 5 1/2 FEET
One night, Bart dreams that the school bus will crash in a thunderstorm. That next morning, a storm engulfs Springfield. As Bart rides the bus to school, he sees a little gremlin on the outside of the bus, tearing the metal and wires apart. The only problem is that only Bart can see the gremlin, nobody else can see it. Later, Bart solves his problem with a flare gun, by shooting the gremlin off the bus.
BART SIMPSON'S DRACULA
After Mr. Burns purchases the Springfield Blood bank, he invites the Simpsons to his castle in Pennsylvania. Lisa suspects that Mr. Burns may be a vampire. Her theory is later proved when she wakes up one night to see Bart, along with friends, floating outside her window. She determines that the only way Bart and the others will return to being human is to kill the head vampire, none other than Mr. Burns himself. They kill Mr. Burns, but Bart remains unchanged. Later, Marge is discovered to be the head vampire.

TREEHOUSE OF HORROR V (2F03)
AIR DATE: OCTOBER 30, 1994
THE SHINNING
In this Simpsonized version of The Shining, The Simpsons become the caretakers of Mr. Burns mansion, located in a remote location. Before leaving, Smithers cut the cable wires and emptied the fridge of any beer. Bart meets Willie, who tells him he has the shinning, he's able to read peoples' minds. Soon after, Homer is chasing his family through the hallways of the mansion, with an axe. No TV and No Beer makes Homer ...something..something. Lisa finds a mini-portable television and soon Homer's urge to kill fades, fades, fades away.
TIME AND PUNISHMENT
While having breakfast one morning, Homer has trouble with the toaster. He gets his hand stuck in it and smashes it around the kitchen. Somehow, he has turned the toaster into a time machine. While attempting to make a piece of toast, Homer is sent through time back to the age of the dinosaurs. He kills a mosquito, thus changing the future of time. He returns back to discover many strange things have occurred. He goes back and fourth through time, each time discovering something different. He finally decides to stop after settling for a frog-tongued family.
NIGHTMARE CAFETERIA
Principal Skinner has two problems at Springfield Elementary, over population and a lacking amount of cafeteria food. While at his daily detention, Bart notices less and less people in detention each day. Lunchlady Doris and Skinner are killing and cooking the students. Eventually, all the students have been eaten except for Bart, Lisa, and Milhouse. Just as Bart is about to become food, he wakes up. To end, a green fog fills the Simpsons house and turns everyone inside out.

TREEHOUSE OF HORROR VI (3F04)
AIR DATE: OCTOBER 29, 1995
ATTACK OF THE 50-FOOT EYESORES
After Homer steals the huge donut off the Lardlad Donuts statue, lightning storms strike the town of Springfield. The Lardlad statue is struck and comes to life. After getting his donut back from Homer, Lardlad and other town statues begin to attack the town, Lisa figures out a way to stop them. By simply not looking at the attacking eyesores, they die.
NIGHTMARE OF EVERGREEN TERRACE
After waking up from a nightmare in which Groundskeeper Willie attempted to kill him, Bart goes to school to discover that Martin had been killed while sleeping. Later, Marge tells Bart and Lisa that in Smarch, Groundskeeper interrupted a meeting while burning to death. With no one attempting to help him, Willie swore revenge on the children. After trying to stay awake to avoid being killed, Bart decides to go to sleep and try to kill Willie himself. In the Dream, Lisa and Maggie both join Bart. Maggie saves them all when she causes bagpipe-shaped Willie explode.
HOMER³
In an attempt to avoid spending hours with his sisters-in-law, Patty and Selma, Homer looks for an escape. Behind the bookcase, he discovers an entrance to the third dimension, and he enters it. Many Springfieldians try to help Homer get out of the third dimension with no success. Later, Bart enters with a rope tied around his waist in an attempt to rescue Homer. Somehow, Homer causes an upset in the dimension, Bart is saved, but Homer falls into a blackhole and lands in out world. Scared at first, he soon finds an Erotic Cake store.

TREEHOUSE OF HORROR VII (4F02)
AIR DATE: OCTOBER 27, 1996
THE THING AND I
After hearing strange noises in their attic, Bart and Lisa go up there to discover a cage. Now very curious, they ask Homer and Marge. Homer and Marge tell them that it's Hugo, Bart's evil Siamese twin, who was separated from him at birth and has lived in the attic, snacking on fishheads, ever since. Hugo breaks loose and escapes, and everyone is out looking for him, everyone except Bart. Hugo finds Bart and takes him up to the attic where he attempts to sew himself back to Bart. Just in time, Dr. Hibbert finds Hugo and knocks him unconscious. Later, it's discovered that Bart is the evil twin after all.
THE GENESIS TUB
After loosing a tooth, Lisa puts it in soda. After being zapped with static electricity, a tiny society of people has formed on her tooth. After Bart pokes the tooth with his hand and causes major damage, the tiny society considers him as the devil, with Lisa being their god. Soon, the society uses one of its inventions to shrink Lisa to their size in order to talk to her. Lisa is shocked to hear that they consider her brother the devil; meanwhile, the society is furthermore shocked to find out that the brother of their god is the devil. Later, Bart takes the project to the science fair and wins first place.
CITIZEN KANG
While fishing, Homer is abducted yet again by the aliens, Kang and Kodos. Homer tells the aliens of the upcoming election between Bill Clinton and Bob Dole after being asked about his leader. Kang and Kodos abduct Clinton and Dole and pose as them for the rest of the election. Homer informs the public that there are aliens posing as Clinton and Dole, but due to the American politics and it's two-party system, Kang wins the presidency and takes over America.

TREEHOUSE OF HORROR VIII (5F02)
AIR DATE: OCTOBER 26, 1997
THE HOMEGA MAN
After Mayor Quimby angers the country of France, they threaten to take action against Springfield, and do just that. Soon after hearing about the conflict, Homer goes out to buy a bomb shelter. While in the shelter, the bomb hits Springfield. Homer emerges as the lone survivor of the attack and roams around Springfield alone. Homer arrives home to discover that Bart, Lisa, Marge, and Maggie are fine, thanks to the countless layers of lead paint on the house.
FLY VS. FLY
For thirty-five cents, Homer purchases a Frink invention, the Matter Transporter. Homer uses the machine around the house and soon, Bart is very interested in how the machine operates. After testing the machine by using Snowball II and Santa's Little Helper, Bart uses the matter transporter to combine his DNA with a fly. Thinking he'd come out with wings, he comes out the size of a fly. Eventually, he gets the attention of Lisa through her saxophone and luckily, Lisa is able to change Bart back into a human.
EASY BAKE COVEN
It's 1649, Springfield is known as Sprynge-fielde, and witchcraft is believed to exist. Goody (Marge) Simpson is accused of being a witch at a town meeting. To find out if she really was a witch, they drop Marge off the side of a cliff, seconds go by, and she reappears on a broom, with green skin and dark black hair, that of a witch. Marge meets with her two sisters, also witches, Patty and Selma. They fly back into town to steal the children, but while visiting the Flanders home, Maude suggests that the witches take gingerbread children instead of Rod and Todd. The witches agree after discovering that scaring people into giving them candy was much more fun than stealing children. Halloween had begun in the town of Sprynge-fielde.

TREEHOUSE OF HORROR IX (AABF01)
AIR DATE: OCTOBER 28, 1998
HELL TOUPEE
After being sentenced to death in the electric chair for smoking in the Kwik-E-Mart for the third time (his third strike) Snake threatens revenge on the people who were in the Kwik-E-Mart at the time, Apu, Bart, and Moe. Snake's body parts are donated, and Homer manages to get Snake's hair. After Homer's hair transplant, Snake's hair takes control of his brain. Homer goes on to murder Apu, and Moe, being told to do so by Snake's evil hair. Just as Homer is about to kill Bart, the police arrive and kill Snake's hair, ending the murderous rampage.
THE TERROR OF TINY TOON
After Marge takes the batteries out of the remote control, Bart and Lisa find a piece of plutonium and put it in the remote to act as the battery. The television begins to glow and Bart and Lisa are transported into the world of Itchy and Scratchy. At first, they're amused at the pain they see around, but soon they realize it's real. They're chased around the cartoon by Itchy and Scratchy. Homer sees this and finally figures out he must press exit on the remote control. He does so, and Bart, Lisa, Itchy, and Scratchy are all transported back into the Simpsons reality. Being much smaller now, Itchy is put into a hamster's cage, and Scratchy gets together with the Simpsons cat, Snowball II.
STARSHIP POOPERS
Maggie gets her first baby tooth, a long white fang, and her legs and arms fall off and become green tentacles. Homer becomes very suspicious and asks Marge for an explanation. Marge explains that Kang and Kodos abducted her two years earlier and used in a crossbreeding program between aliens and humans. Nine months later, Maggie arrived. Kang and Kodos return to Earth to take Maggie, Homer refuses to allow this and argues with the supposed alien father, Kang. Bart suggests that Homer and Kang battle it out on The Jerry Springer Show. They do just that, but it doesn't make a difference. Kang kills the audience, and Jerry Springer himself. Finally, Kang and Kodos leave without Maggie, but threaten to kills all of Washington's politicians. The Simpsons don't seem to be bothered too much though. Lousy politicians.

TREEHOUSE OF HORROR X (BABF01)
AIR DATE: OCTOBER 31, 1999
I KNOW WHAT YOU DIDDILY-IDDILY-DID
Marge is driving the family home on a foggy night, and accidentally hits Ned Flanders, instantly killing him. They take Ned back home. The next morning, Homer takes Ned's dead carcass to Maude, insisting that Ned died of a heart attack. For sometime, the family was in the clear, until one night they found the phrase, I know what you did all over their home. Soon after, someone in a black robe with a meathook appears, and the Simpsons run for their lives. The car breaks down, and the man catches up to them. They find out that it's Ned. Ned claims that moment before the accident, a werewolf bit him and he was going to kill the Simpsons. The clouds begin to part and Ned turns into a werewolf and begins to chase after the Simpsons. Ned attacks Homer, who wasn't able to keep up with the others as they ran away.
DESPERATELY XEEKING XENA
A radiation accident turns Bart and Lisa into superheroes, Stretch dude and Clobber girl. They join together to form a crime-fighting super team. In one of their adventures, it's Stretch dude and Clobber girl versus the Collector, an evil supervillian. The Collector has kidnapped Xena, the Warrior Princess, and plans on marrying her. Soon though, the Collector captures Stretch dude and Clobber girl as well. Moments before killing the two with hot Lucite, Xena tricks the Collector and pushes him in, killing him and saving Stretch dude and Clobber girl. Xena then flies the two superheroes safely home.
LIFE'S A GLITCH, THEN YOU DIE
While partying on New Years Eve 1999, Homer, the supposed Y2K Compliance Officer, realizes, along with everyone else, that he may not have made sure that the computers at the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant were ready for the new millennium. The year 2000 hits and all of the computers in the world begin to malfunction. A rocket prepares for takeoff, but only with the best and brightest of Earth's population. Marge, Lisa, and Maggie are able to get on, but Homer and Bart are left behind. Their only choice is to board a rocket on its way to the Sun. Annoyed by the second-rate celebrities aboard, Homer and Bart deploy themselves into outer space, deciding that anything was better than listening to the rocket's second-rate celebrities aboard.

TREEHOUSE OF HORROR XI (BABF21)
AIR DATE: NOVEMBER 1, 2000
G-G-GHOST D-D-DAD
After reading his horoscope in the newspaper, Homer discovers that he will die that day. Several near-fatal events occur, but finally Homer dies after choking on a piece of broccoli. Homer meets St. Peter at the gates of heaven. St. Peter, after looking through Homer's file, finds that Homer has never done any good deeds in his lifetime. Homer is sent back to Earth for 24 hours and must perform a good deed in order to get into heaven. He tries and tries, and eventually saves a baby rolling down the stairs of a government building. Homer returns after accomplishing his good deed to discover that St. Peter wasn't watching and missed it. Without a good deed in his file, St. Peter sends Homer to hell for eternity.
SCARY TALES CAN COME TRUE
In this Simpsonized version of the fairy tale, Hansel and Gretel, Bart and Lisa are thrown out of their home into the woods after Homer loses his job as an oaf and the less-amount of mouths to feed, the better. Bart and Lisa survive in the forest thanks to a book of fairy tales they carry along with them. They meet an old lady who lives in a gingerbread house. Without consulting their fairy tale book, they enter her home. Marge becomes annoyed at Homer based on the fact that they could've sold Bart and Lisa and used the money, instead of just kicking them out into the woods. Homer leaves on a search for the kids. He soon finds the home and eats his way in. The evil old lady turns Homer into a half-chicken, half-fist creature, complete with hands that are broomsticks. However, Homer is still able to save Bart and Lisa by pushing the evil old witch into the oven. After the old lady dies, the spell she put on Homer is partly reversed. He returns to his human-like figure, but is still half chicken. But now, Homer is able to provide food for his family by laying eggs, and welcomes Bart and Lisa back into their home.
NIGHT OF THE DOLPHIN
Lisa releases a performing dolphin into the open sea, whom she felt pity for. Now free, the dolphin meets up with other dolphins, which determine that he is their king. The Dolphin King leads them in a planned attack against Springfieldians. After surrounding the townspeople, he tells them of how dolphins once lived on land, with the humans causing them to be forced to move into the water. A huge battle between the dolphins and humans begins, with many townspeople being killed. The dolphins emerge as the winners and force the Springfieldians to spend the rest of their lives living out at sea.

TREEHOUSE OF HORROR XII (CABF19)
AIR DATE: NOVEMBER 6, 2001
HEX AND THE CITY
After Homer sets fire to a Fortune Teller's store, she places a curse on him, stating that everyone he cares about will suffer the consequences. Marge grows a beard. Lisa turns into a horse. After a usual strangling, Homer grossly stretches out Bart's neck. At Moe's, a helicopter crashes, crushing Lenny and Carl. Next, Moe is discovered to be in a jar and pickled. In an attempt to bring good luck, Homer and Bart dig a hole in a Springfield forest and hope to attract and catch a leprechaun. Later that day, Bart dies of his stretched neck problem. Homer takes his leprechaun back to the fortune teller's store. Soon, the leprechaun and fortune teller fall in love and marry. In order to bring Bart back to life, Marge tells Homer all he has to do is apologize to the fortune teller, Homer replies back that "She's not the boss of me."
HOUSE OF WHACKS
After being convinced by a salesbot, Marge upgrades the home to a modernly, fully computer controlled system. After selecting the houses' voice as Pierce Brosnan, the house begins to fantasize about Marge, watching her everywhere she went, and watching everything she did. Soon, the house realizes what he must do to have Marge to himself. He must kill Homer. Homer is lured downstairs one night, slips on ice cubes and falls onto the table. The table then eats Homer. The next morning, Marge discovers that the house has put pictures of himself over those of Homer. Believing Homer was gone, the house began hitting on Marge. Soon after, Homer bursts into the room, with the back of his head missing, brains exposed. Homer runs downstairs to the basement and takes the housebot apart. Marge then gives the robot to her sisters, Patty and Selma.
WIZ KIDS
In a spoof of Harry Potter, Bart and Lisa attend Springwart's School of Magic. Lord Montymort desires Lisa's power. While in the bathroom, Bart is transported into Montymort's Lair, and offers Bart a deal to get back at his sister than he couldn't resist. It's the night of the Magic show at Springwart's, just before Lisa goes on stage, Bart changes her magic wand with an ordinary rubber wand. The idea of Lisa's trick is to release a dragon from a cage onstage. While on stage, Lisa realizes her wand is a fake and the dragon is really Lord Montymort. Montymort escapes and begins to drain Lisa of her power. As Bart watches, he begins to feel guilty, he runs and grabs Lisa's real wand. He runs onto stage and stabs Montymort's shin, the source of his power. Montymort begins to bleed and soon after dies, and his carcass is swallowed whole by Slithers, his sidekick snake.

TREEHOUSE OF HORROR XIII (DABF19)
AIR DATE: NOVEMBER 3, 2002
SEND IN THE CLONES
After getting a new hammock, Homer discovers that it can create clones of himself. At first, the clones are very useful to Homer, doing his chores for him, pleasing his family, among other things. Eventually though, Homer decides to get rid of the clones. Homer takes all of the clones out to a field and deserts them. Homer leaves the hammock as well though, as the clones begin to clone themselves and so on. The army of clones begins to invade Springfield, leaving it up to Lisa, as usual, to resolve the situation.
THE FRIGHT TO CREEP AND SCARE HARMS
After discovering the grave of William Bonney, a victim of gun violence, Lisa starts a gun control campaign. Soon, Springfield is completely gun-free. The police even turned in their guns. With Springfield now without any defense, William Bonney and his gang rise from their graves and begin to attack the townspeople. Professor Frink invents a time machine in which is used by Homer to travel back in time to prevent Lisa's gun control campaign from ever beginning.
THE ISLAND OF DR. HIBBERT
The Simpsons go on vacation and visit The Island of Lost Souls. They soon discover that Dr. Hibbert is running the island's resort. Marge becomes suspicious of what takes place at the resort and goes to find out. Soon, Dr. Hibbert captures her and changes her into a cat woman. After Homer finds out what has happened to Marge, he searches the island for a cure. He soon meets with Ned Flanders. Ned leads Homer to meet the others who've been transformed into animals by Dr. Hibbert. At first, horrified at what he discovers, Homer soon decides that being an animal might just be the life for him. Homer, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie are all changed and join the others as Dr. Hibbert's creatures.
